Sunday, April 18, 2010 in Sassari, Italy main square has been transformed into "bio square " event created to make citizens aware of the advantages of biological health and the environment by promoting responsible consumption-oriented behaviors.
The square has hosted a dozen certified organic farmers from all over Sardinia who have had the opportunity to promote and taste their products to visitors proving a huge success, so much so that in late morning, many exhibitors have found no more products.
Organic farmers in Sardinia are about 1300 and more than 60,000 hectares are cultivated.
In addition to the Sassari event was held in the streets of Aosta, Ancona, Bari, Belluno, Bologna, Bolzano, Campobasso, Florence, Genoa, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Perugia, Chieti, Potenza, Reggio Calabria, Rome, Turin and Udine.
